Today with the use of video it is much easier to raise funds for a good cause.
There is so much talk about how most of the donations raised are used for administration purposes by the charities, that many people are reluctant to donate. Take the United Nations - just look at the cars their employees drive - the latest four wheel fuel gusselers - and they call that charity???
But there are many smaller organisations who channel their donations directly into the good cause, but how do we know who they are. If they would just record a simple little video, can even be done with a normal digital camera, and upload it to the social media sites, doners could see how their money is being used and would be much happier donating.
So why not start recording the good that is being done. We can all do with seeing a few good deeds and not just murders, rapes and earth quakes -
To help spread the word, use an easy to use program to distribute your videos to 50 plus social media sites in one go. Saves hours and hours of work.
www.charity-in-action.org is using this program to help raise awareness for small charities.

Thousands of non-profits each and every day choose new fundraisers to support their growing needs. One very important source of fundraising is the organization’s supporter search engine traffic. There are many ways to capitalize on your supporters’ search engine needs, but two are the most prominent, GoodSearch and Google.
Google is a name that everyone knows, but did you know that they have services available that will allow you to put a Google search engine directly on your website? You can create your own search engine using the Google infrastructure, and Google will pay you to do it.
GoodSearch is also a search engine, but they utilize the Yahoo search infrastructure to offer your supporters a way to raise funds for your program without costing them a dime. They host and run the whole program. No website is needed nor do you have to have any technological background.
So how do they compare? It all depends on your organization’s needs.
GoodSearch’s setup is easy and hassle free. Your supporters go to GoodSearch.com and select your organization from a list and from that time forward all of their searches create donations to your organization. The downside is that their service does not bring supporters back to your site, and GoodSearch takes a cut of the funds raised.
Google on the other hand takes more time and effort to set-up. You will need someone with some basic website skills to add the feature to your site, but the benefits can be enormous. The first benefit is that your members now visit your site for all their search needs. This creates a “stickiness” to your site that allows you to interact more often with them. More interaction means more opportunity to fundraise. But, even more significant is that Google will pay your organization more. In my experience about twice as much.
Sure GoodSearch is easy, but once it is set-up Google’s benefits far out way the initial hassles. With a few tweaks your website will be the fundraising powerhouse it can be.
